Public Service Plumbers will pay our employees 5 days vacation after the first year of employment. Public Service Plumbers will pay our employees 10 days vacation after the seventh year of employment. All employees after 90 days will receive full pay for 6 holidays (New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). All of Public Service Plumbers employees are insured, in the work place, under the Texas Workers Compensation plan.
Public Service Plumbers intends to enrich every employee's life through compensation, growth of position, retirement savings and mutual respect in the work place. We believe that this philosophy leads to a satisfied and trusted employee and thus translates to our customer's well being. We always place our customers and clients first but never at the expense of our employees.
Public Service Plumbers is proud to boast that their average employment period is 8 years. We are equally proud of our Safety/Energy Record. This record demonstrates Public Service Plumbers commitment to their employees.
Public Service Plumbers expects all employees to arrive on time, prepared to perform their duties professionally. Public Service Plumbers can never afford to accept excuses, reasoning or any other thinking that leads to a lack of performance. Virtually all of Public Service Plumbers customers/clients demand a perfect job each and every time as we expect to be paid for each and every project. With that being said, situations do occur that are not completely in your/our control, and it's how the employee/company deals with these challenges that separates the professional from the amateur.
Public Service Plumbers requires all applicants to fill out our pre-employment application. Public Service Plumbers will review each applicant and before an offer of employment is extended, a 3rd party screening will be required and administered. Public Service Plumbers pays for this process. This process consists of the applicant going to one location to have a criminal background check performed for any felony or misdemeanor conviction and review of their driving record. At this same time the applicant will be required to undergo a drug screening and complete a question/answer test performed on a computer screen to evaluate the applicants' psychological profile. Public Service Plumbers requires all field employees to wear the company's uniform, for which there is a small weekly payroll deduction. All office employees are expected to dress professionally.
